Again, I had to miss a pod because too many recordings and post-production now that we're working on some videos to edit and also some volunteer work that I wanted to really put focus on. Today, we will be talking about surrender and how important it is to do so when you cannot control the things around you.

I believe it was my great-grandfather who passed away in World War I.

And he indeed did die in service. And I think about him quite a bit, especially

these days with the state of the world. There are so many things after the passing of a loved one

during the war that can trickle down to the rest of the family. And I think it's really important that you take

stock on your heritage and how your ancestors may have felt years ago during different times of war

in different places in the world. So while we're sitting here a bit worried or anxious or maybe

depressed or even lonely, maybe you're

stuck. I wanted to read to you a few things that have really helped me over the past few months

to learn and to grow. You know, so much of my public-facing career is certainly out there,

but that's not really who I am. So I'm so happy for the last six years that we've been

able to get to know each other really, really well on the Wabi-Sabi pod. It is like my safe space
