Hello everyone we are joined today by Joseph Hopkins who has a background in Norwegian Germanic studies and is the guy behind Mimi's

when it comes to understanding Nordic mythology. He's also the founder of the company Hulier,

which publishes and produces all kinds of cool things that are Nordic themed and today we're going to talk about like trees with Joseph. So welcome to the show man.

Well, let's start with, do you want to give a quick renown of what Meamis-Brena is? There, as a whole, maybe it's, let's start there for anybody that doesn't know.

Yeah, absolutely.

So once upon a time I studied Germanic studies and philology at the Department of Germanics and

Slavic studies at the University of Georgia and Athens, Georgia, that's in the United States.

And at the time I led a reading circle that went on for years there, several years.

And over time, we began to compare a lot of translations that we were reading,

as well as translations that we were producing.

And we're spending a lot of time talking about news

related to these topics, right?

A lot of finds, archaeological finds, various developments,

publications, but there wasn't at the time... biological finds, various developments, publications.

But there wasn't at the time really a platform

for reporting on these things.

So I put together a little website, Memesbrenner.
