Well, hey, friend, and welcome to the messy table, an ordinary space where we can show up,

kick off our shoes, and take a deep breath of truth and encouragement.

Because I don't know about you, but I can always use the reminder that God is at work in our mess.

So if we haven't had the chance to meet, my name is Jen Jewel, and I have the honor of hosting

this faith-fueled

conversation-style podcast, which is partnered with women of my church, Life Church, and also a huge

fan of the U-Version Bible app. Y'all God's Word, literally in our back pockets for free,

available in thousands of languages wherever we go. And it's honestly wild to me to think that we live at such a unique time in history

when the Bible's not only at our fingertips,

but there are also so many incredible free tools that can help guide us,

help us stand for both truth and grace,

and help us intimately know the one true God.

Y'all, we are without excuse. And that shouldn't

scare us, but excite us and empower us because we have been invited into this story. We have been

entrusted to shine God's light into a world that desperately needs it. And that doesn't have to be

fancy. It means at your local grocery store, at your

favorite coffee shop, in a meeting with your coworkers, at your table with your kids. So as we head

into summer and these episodes slow down for a few months, we can remember that God cares so

deeply about our individual lives, about our very own messy stories. And you know that we absolutely

love sharing stories, but God is not just at work in our personal stories. He's also at work

in the collective, overarching story of the world that we are all a part of the greatest story on

earth. And as women who are trusting in the God who made us, who are following the way of Jesus,
