Chris is a writer, former naturopathic medical student, current truck driver, soldier, husband and father, and truth and meaning seeker. In 2021 he walked away from medical school, unwilling to sacrifice his integrity and principles for an education and medical career. He formally studied Christian history and theology for several years in Chicago and England before deciding on a medical career. While attending Columbia University in NYC for his premedical studies, Chris seriously considered monastic life, staying at a monastery in a discernment process for a brief time. Eventually, his patriotic impulse led him to enlist in the United States Army, where he served as an airborne infantryman in the 82nd Airborne. Chris started his studies in Classical Chinese medicine and Naturopathic medicine in Portland, OR in 2017 but voluntarily left after the madness of 2020 and beyond. He has been enjoying a slow and deliberate unbecoming in this season of life while he continues to write and be thankful for the beautiful, unexpected journey.

1:04.0	And there's a, there's a lot of prominent people in the health freedom movement that say that it's not important
1:13.0	to focus on virology right now, like the truth that there's no proof that it hears the scientific
1:18.3	method or logic for the existence of viruses. And I started thinking about this and it's like
1:23.2	it's kind of relates to what we're going to talk about with authority is if you had something
1:29.8	that you discovered, just more philosophically overarchingly, that you know to be true or at the least
1:35.5	pretty close to the truth on an issue, right? And that I think in most cases we can never know the objective truth from every single
1:47.0	angle because we just don't have every single angle on any given issue.
1:50.0	But nonetheless, something that was as close as it could possibly be to the truth.
1:54.0	And the overwhelming majority of society was not in line with it.
2:00.0	And it was a truth that could empower society
2:03.9	to a new direction.
2:05.7	Would you not speak that truth because society is not ready to hear it?

2:14.8	Like even the topic that we're talking about, I have thought about that in comparison to
2:19.9	virology because here's where there's a lot of common ground.
