And sure enough, we turn around, and as we turn around, cow elk on the back side of that

that finger ridge, cow elk, cow elk, and I take my bino's up, and I'm like, that's a legal

bull.

And so I'm like, Curtis, give me range, whatever.

So I grab my tripod.

And in the moment, I'm like kind of start fumbling with the clips and I was like calm down so I

calm down slow get them get everything out put the gun in there he gives me the range I look at the

MOA or he made read out the MOA and then we subtracted the percentages we thought and I get on him

and I'm like is he the one in the back?

He goes, what?

And I just shot.

And as soon as I shot, he just stopped and did that kind of like thing in Idaho

where he was like, he was done.

And Curtis is like, another one.

So I didn't want to take the chance.

And so he was like 460 yards, I think is what he was.
