And if one were to ask after the meditation that we just did, how do we live with loving

awareness, the theme for this evening that Trudy and I want to talk about is forgiveness,

which is one of the dimensions of the awakened heart along with compassion and loving kindness

and shared joy and so forth.

And it's really an expression of what it means to live with loving awareness.

So as you sit and listen, let it be a little bit of a meditation that is to say it can

be a reflection or a contemplation in yourself of what seems helpful or true or useful

to you or a reminder or something you already know and if it doesn't seem right, forget

it.

You know, you're the one that has to live this and nobody else has lived quite as weird

a life as you have, so you might as well get used to it.

So a question as we begin, how many of you have things that you would like to forgive

yourself for?

Notice almost every hand went up except that one person who is fibbing and they'll have

to forgive themselves later, right?

How many of you have things that it's like, okay, I probably should forgive somebody else

for?
