Very, very glad to be welcoming Patrick Moore back to the show.

You will recall that Patrick Moore is

a founding member of Greenpeace and, in fact, spent nine years as president of Greenpeace Canada and

another six years as a director of Greenpeace International. He's obviously broken with them at this

point. We talked a bit about that. The last time he was on the

program, I'll link to the previous episode on the show notes page. But today I thought we would talk

about the Green New Deal, because as you may have seen in the news, maybe, I don't know, at least

several weeks ago, he wrote some tweets in response to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez that were pretty hard-hitting.

And I thought this is an interesting fellow to be talking about the Green New Deal with.
