0:19.2	It has been such a long week. And I guess I'm going to just go ahead.
0:23.7	I didn't even plan on talking about this, but I'm just going to go ahead and talk about it
0:27.2	because maybe it'll put things into a different perspective for our listeners. But we have just
0:33.4	been like dealing with a lot of death around us lately. So not in regards to true crime.
0:40.3	It's actually in regards to our personal lives. So Austin's best friend lost his mom to cancer
0:46.7	last week. And she was actually an avid listener of Mama Mystery, which just breaks my heart.
0:53.2	I lost my mom when she was 56, and our friend's mom was
0:57.2	56 also. And, you know, I just, my heart just breaks for him and his family, and they're all
1:03.7	struggling with this. So that happened last week. And then this week, Austin's grandma passed away.
1:10.4	At the age of 93, She had a very long and
1:13.7	fulfilling life. Her name is Joyce. I'm glad I got to spend some time with her, you know,
1:20.4	in the beginning of our relationship. And then also towards the end, we got to be with her and hold
1:23.9	her hand. And, you know, it was just very eye-opening. And then Austin's business
1:29.8	partner lost his mom this week also. It's just been a lot of moms leaving us this week. And it's
1:37.3	been really hard, you know, to carry all that weight and the pain that we're feeling for our friends.
1:43.4	We, Austin and I both are fixers.
1:45.9	We want to fix things for people and these are just things we can't fix. And so we're trying
1:51.1	really hard to just kind of be there for them and be present. But I just want to dedicate
1:56.3	this episode to them. Oddly enough, I didn't intend on doing this because today's episode is actually
2:04.2	about a mom, but not in a good way. So I don't know. I don't know, guys, where like how we can
