Tonight, journalist Andy Know, who has previously had encounters in the states with Antifa

joins us to discuss his recent visit to Sweden's migrant communities.

I'm roaming millennial and you so much for joining us. It's a pleasure to be with you.

Right, so you recently went to Sweden, which I thought was really interesting.

Sweden is a place that's brought up a lot in regard to the current debate on immigration, especially concerning

immigration from the Middle East and North Africa.

They've had a large amount of people coming in from that area.

And it's somewhere that critics of mass immigration like to bring up as an example of look,

there's been no assimilation, now there's crimes happening, we have no-go zones, things like that,

but people who are a little bit more in favor of this immigration

procedure they will say no you know sure there have been problems like any other

city would have its problems but by and large Sweden is a story of how successful

immigration and multiculturalism can happen.

Now you wrote a piece on your on your recent trip for National Review.

It's really interesting if people haven't seen it yet,

really recommend that they read it.

What was your I guess

initial reason for wanting to go and explore the situation for yourself?

Like you pointed out Sweden is actually covered in the English language press quite a lot in regards to immigration there and issues

that it has with immigration and a lot of the coverage in the conservative and right-wing videos reads quite polemical and then on the flip side there's also a lot of I guess I will call it apologism for mass migration from the left who say things are going fine

I wanted to go to find out the truth and I wanted to go particularly during the campaign season just before the national elections.

That was a big election because polling had shown that there was unprecedented support for these Sweden Democrats,
