This week on hometown ghost stories. In the summer of 1986, the Tallman family purchased what they hoped would be their forever

home in the small industrial town of Horicon, Wisconsin.

When they picked up a set of second-hand bunk beds for their daughter's room, they couldn't

have known that there may have been an evil entity attached to it.

The following nine months would prove to be a horrifying test for the young family

in a series of events that would gain national attention.

The lights get shut off. Mom and Dad say good night,

and Danny would just fall asleep. That was the way it used to be, but things had changed.

Danny's sisters in the bedroom next door were having nightmares regularly, and mom and dad were

acting strange about it.

Parents were supposed to comfort their kids when they had bad dreams, and Danny's parents

would try to do that, but it seemed like they believed that the nightmares were real.

These were the thoughts going through Danny's head while he lie awake in his bed, just staring
