Well, hey everybody and welcome back to the messy table, an ordinary space for real women,

imperfect stories, and the God who's at work in our mess. And while I can't speak for you,

I am seriously grateful that he is good, that he is faithful, and that even despite the messes we

make or we find ourselves in, he has overcome the world. And this story

isn't finished. So if we haven't yet had the chance to meet, my name is Jan Jewell, and I get the

honor of hosting this faith-fueled conversation-style podcast. And back with me today as my amazing

co-host is my dear friend, Amy Groschelle. Y'all, we are partnered with

God's Word literally in our back pockets available in thousands of languages, both given away

and downloaded for free, which is simply one example of how God's word and God's

story is spreading to the ends of the earth. And I just pray that we can pause for a second in

our busy everyday lives and see his fingerprints all around us, the evidence for his existence

at every single turn, that his spirit is currently being poured out on this

generation. And it's so obvious that we have no excuse for not knowing God. And so, like Revelation

1211 talks about, our enemy is defeated by the blood of the Lamb, by Jesus' ultimate sacrifice,

and by the word of our testimonies, sharing

what He has done in our actual real lives. And that is why Amy and I are super excited to introduce

you to our guests for today. Lydia Laird is a Jesus-loving, music-making, genuine woman of God

overflow of what God has done in her life.
