Hello everybody, Tom Woods here. I'm going to walk you through some of the books I think we all ought to be reading. And I think I'm going to try to make it one of my goals this year to reread these books. I haven't read these books in a long time. And man, I know they helped me at the time. And it's just a fact that you're not going to retain a whole lot of what's in a book.

You get the general gist. You remember some facts, but I'm telling you, I know when I go through these books again,

I'm going to get so much more out of them, particularly since I've been doing so much reading and learning in the interim,

that now there's more fertile soil for the insights in these books to grow.

So I decided to cover this topic because, well, to be honest with you, last night I went into the supporting listeners' Facebook group,

We're going to have Stephen Walt from Harvard visiting us again. He has a new-ish book.

It's actually been out a little while, but I finally decided to read it and talk to him about it. We had him on before. And then I've got, remember we had a debate some time ago on Trump's tariffs. We had a pro and a con. We had pro being Dan McCarthy and Khan being Gene Epstein. Well, Dan and Gene are coming back again because Dan has written a couple of controversial articles over the past couple of weeks.

Dave Smith over on the part of the problem podcast critiqued one of Dan's columns, and Gene and Dan are going to have a conversation moderated by me.

And basically, I guess all three of us will be talking about the other one.

And Dan, I don't always agree with him, but he's smart. He's a generous and good guy.

And after we had the debate on the tariffs, Gene and Dan exchanged and CC'd me on some really friendly
