Hi, everybody, Tom Woods here. What a delight it is to be joined once again by Michael

Rectinwald. Recently retired from New York University. We've talked to Michael a couple of times

when he was indeed a professor at NYU, and he spent most of his academic career as a Marxist.

And then he found some of the social justice stuff a bit too much to take.

And it turns out that dissent, of course, means death on the left.

There's no, well, maybe he has an interesting point of view.

No, no, no, no, no.

He was completely shunned and they did everything they could to destroy him.

I'm talking about his colleagues.

Crazy, crazy situation.

Well, anyway, I'm glad to have him back because he's one of these rare cases of somebody who late in career reexamines everything.

He reexamines his point of view on, basically his worldview, really. His worldview comes up for a complete reexamination. And we'll talk a little bit

about that. We talked in some detail about that in the previous episode on which he appeared.
