Hi, everybody. Tom Woods here. Today, I am sharing with you a talk I've never shared before.

Seems like I have an infinite supply of these, doesn't it? I did a lot of public speaking when I was a younger man.

This is from 10 years ago, if you can believe that, when I was speaking at the Acton Institute,

the Acton Institute for the study of religion and liberty.

So I went and talked about the financial crisis.

Of course, I had written a book on that, a meltdown.

And I talked about the economics of it.

But they also, no doubt, being the Acton Institute, wanted some kind of a moral dimension to it.

So I tried to raise some issues along those lines.

So it's not my usual, laughy, bantery kind of talk.

It's somewhat more academic, but not boring, I don't think.

I think you'll get something out of it.
