I've been thinking about AI a lot recently, and my use of AI tools, my understanding of what

AI can do right now, and they are amazing tools.

There is no doubt.

But the use of AI brings up many issues.

Let me share.

Last night, I ended up at a steakhouse with three other men. We were all

just talking all kinds of issues. I'm Gen X. The three men were all millennial. So a little bit

younger than me. But all three, a very good understanding of AI. So we were all kind of going

deep on what has

happened and what will happen or what we might guess will happen. But AI brings up very quickly

the notion of information. And information is everywhere. Well, of course, this ultimately

leads to their curiosity on some of my work,

and my process, and my process was all pre-AI. In many instances, much of the work, the insights

that I assembled, was pre-internet, because so much of it was 94, 95, and end in 96,

and there wasn't really anything on the internet about trend following in 1996, except me.

I was the only one that was really putting trend following information out there.

And the only reason you're probably listening right now is because I actually was the only person putting information out there in 1996.

It was the start of a brand.

And I was trying to dig at that point in time.

If you're trying to dig about a subject pre-internet, pre-A.I., pre-phones,

there's pros and cons. And since this wasn't yesterday, it's not necessarily relevant because we're

never going back there again. But maybe it is relevant. Because when I was digging,
