Today I want to present a comprehensive response to David French's article. He published this in

The Atlantic. It is called free speech for me, but not for the. The subtitle is the American right

has lost the plot on free speech. And this article has gone viral, not just in the conservative

sphere, but in politics in general, because there are competing interests in the conservative

movement right now. There are two sort of brands of conservatism that are competing to be

republicanism, if you will. And David French represents one of those sides. I would call it more

of the establishment side at this point. However, it's an interesting marriage because while I

call David French an establishment republican at this point, he used to be very much on the

evangelical tea party, religious liberty, individual rights, very fighting the cultural battles

type. And so I believe it is that that's the reason why when he writes an article like this and

essentially has changed his mind or changed his position, why it lights the fire in the conservative

political sphere. So I want to respond to this article, but before we get into all of that,

which will be fun, I promise. Before we get into that, the CDC has extended their mask mandates

for airplanes. It was supposed to expire in April 18th the day after Easter. And they have now extended

it 15 days, which is just so twisted. The irony of extending the mask mandate for 15 days. And

now is not going to expire until May 3rd to say that I was disappointed to hear this is a gross

understatement. This is the, I mean, it's so insane at this point. Really, there are people are

living their lives normally, except of course for the COVID maniacs. But the vast majority of the

population is living as normal. There are no indoor mask mandates for restaurants, for stadiums,

for crowded venues. And yet airplanes where they actually have an air filtration system,

there is, there is a mask mandate because the CDC says so. So I mean, we can sit here and we

can complain about that. And that's all good and well are elected officials or bureaucrats who've
