I visualize me in a particular role I visualize the situation no matter whether I've talked to the director or not. I don't know what the sets

look like. I don't know anything, but when I'm reading a story, I create all that stuff in my

head for myself, so that my reality of what's going on is very vivid and it's something that I

can actually palpably feel taste and sense while I'm doing it. And that's just

before I do it. And I don't necessarily ever do lines aloud until I get to the set.

And I do the first rehearsal.

It's generally the first time I hear the lines out loud. I read them in my head and I say it in my head

but I never vocalize them. And when I'm on a golf course and I'm looking at a shot, It's pretty much the same thing. I can look at the clubs, I can look at the distance, and see the shot that I want to hit. I can see if I want to hit a draw, I can see if I want to hit a fade, I can see if the

wind's going to move the shot a certain way and I'll select the club that allows me to do that particular thing and I take a practice

swing I don't hit the ball which is essentially like me not saying the lines but saying

them in my head but not saying them aloud and then when I address the ball is

the first time that I'm actually going to put what I visualize into, I guess, a real situation or the reality of it.

Unlike acting, it doesn't always work out 100%. But if I do all the things that I know. It's like knowing stage left, stage right, up stage, down stage,

dominant, dominant positions, subservient position, the attitude that needs to happen, I can execute

a shot pretty much the very same way.

If my hands move in concert with my arms

and my body turns the way that I normally turn

as opposed to try and do more than I necessarily need to do.

You know, sometimes your body will say,

you really need to hit this heart,

but my mind always says,

you really don't need to hit it hard
