Hommeister, and we're going to check in on our New Year's resolutions, the ones we made last

year, how we did, and what we're doing this year.

But first, what are you reading, bro? I'm still reading some books from

2019 that I thought I might want to put on my best of. It's like I some reason I'm still doing that.

Because they were on my Kindle I decided to read them. I am reading midnight at the Blackburg

back Cafe by Heather Weber. Oh, I haven't heard of this. It has an incredibly high rating on good

reads. I'm looking at it right now. It is about it's told from the

point of view of two women it's set in Alabama in a small town in Alabama in

in the mountain I think I pictured in a mountain and it's one of them one of the women is the

granddaughter of a woman who owned this place called the Blackbird Cafe and she goes

back to her basically her grandmother dies and she has to go run the

cafe for 60 days and then she is allowed to do anything she wants with it and

it has a magical realism element because if you eat the pie at the Blackbird Cafe,

someone, a dead person will give you a message.

I don't know if you could choose the dead person.

Yeah, so here's the only bummer about me talking about it right now is that I feel like it should really go into our snacks and book newsletter because it's the perfect pairing and I'm probably going gonna put it there also because if it ends up being good I haven't finished it yet I love it so far and I'm about 30% of the way through it

through it And the other I'm putting this on my library holds this right it's very's very heartwarming. There is a bit of a mystery.

There's a lot of small town politics because the other character is told from the point of view of she has come back because her husband passed away and she has a young child and she's coming back to live with her mother and dad who she doesn't get along with.
