We took last week's episode and split it into two parts.

So we want to go ahead and just jump right into the second half of our conversation with Pastor Matt and getting into some real answers to your tough questions.

Listen in. Alrighty, so jumping right into getting some real answers to some tough questions from you, Pastor Matt, Ricky wrote in and said, this is a tough one. I've been in a relationship

for a year now and claimed to be a Christian. I wasn't following any of my Christian practices, though,

and was drifting away further and further. Soon after my relationship started to deteriorate, I realized that the reason for this was my lack of relationship with God.

So I started to really trust in the Lord and was hoping to see a change in our relationship.

But as soon as I did that, we finally called it quits.

Why is this happening, Pastor Matt?

And what can I do to stay on track without having the confusion from heartbreak? Yeah, I mean, I don't know your situation, but it sounds like you got the wrong God.

So the God you want is the God who is, not the God who fixes your relationships and stuff.

And so you really got to get those things in order.

So the first commandment is thou shall have no other gods before me,

and that includes boyfriends, specifically includes boyfriends,

girlfriends, and so good things can become sinful things

if they are misplaced.

And so that's the first thing that I would do is,

I think for a lot of young people,

it's really, really hard to juggle multiple relationships,

especially when you don't have a good relationship with God.

You don't want to try to improve that relationship and work on this other relationship.

You want to make a choice, and the choice to make is always God.
