Oh, it's great having you. You know, I'm very excited about my brother-in-law is a police officer. And so I can't wait to get him a copy of this book for Christmas. Thank you for the gift idea.

Let's start with the question is to, you know, why is this topic of getting a glimpse of the life behind the badge so important today or really more important than ever today?

Well, one of the things that I noticed is that the media today does not represent cops and anything except the worst possible life.

And the majority of people decent people don't have run ins with law enforcement. So they have no clue what type of person they're, you know, they are in the law enforcement field.

What they think, how they act, all they go is what they see in movies TV and on the media. And I just thought that somebody needed to tell the other side and hopefully help some people be more safe and maybe even help relationships.

Yeah, well, I mean, obviously writing writing a book is no small task. What led you to say, you know what, I want to put all of what's in my heart here. I want to put it in the form of a book.

Well, it, I originally started to write it back. I want to say in like the mid 80s.

And at the time, it was just, I'd had some interesting things happen and I thought it'd be fun to share them with people.

And after starting it, life happened. And it just kind of put on the shelf. And it wasn't until last year that when I saw all of this deep fund, the police nonsense. And now we're seeing the results of ultra liberal district attorneys and attorney generals.

They're attacking cops and they're turning loose criminals give, I mean, if they even give them a slap on the wrist.

I'm surprised because usually it's like, oh, you poor baby. Oh, we're sorry. We put handcuffs on you. You're not traumatized to that. Are you? Let's let them go.
