contra Krugman.com slash 132. Now, Bob and I are going to use this as kind of a springboard to talk

about some of the issues that are raised. So we're not going to be strictly tied to it, but I'm still

going to do my customary summary, and then we'll

go from there. But I do want to lead off by saying that because this is a blog post,

Krugman probably takes some prior knowledge for granted. He's not careful to spell out precisely

what his view is. So, I mean, we know what his view is.

So, I mean, we know what his view is, but we don't know the full foundations of that view

because it is just a blog post and you don't necessarily repeat all the foundational stuff in every blog post.

So what we're talking about in this column, we're going to be talking about in this episode today,

is the alleged relationship between unemployment and inflation, and this relationship is said to be

captured in something known as the Phillips curve.
