Joe Simons is a co-founder of Salt Strong, a subscription-based fishing community that focuses on education and creating memories on the

water. Joe and his brother Luke left their lucrative business and finance

to pursue their dreams of starting a fishing company.

podcast swap right now. Yes. And, geez, so when did you and I do that video with me

looking like I got a crazy-ass mullet haircut. What was that?

Well, that was like 2 a.m. in Australia.

Yeah, I was so, I was blown away first and foremost

that you did it.

It was like four years ago, we had just started Salt Strong

and we sent out like 100 emails multiple times like 100 people we

wanted to get on and pretty much everyone rejected us except for 16 people and

you were one of 16 and like Peter Miller Tom Roland some really big names like blew us

away saying yes and so ever since then we've been massive fans like if

April ever anything like we got our back so like I mean you took a risk on us and obviously I mean... It wasn't a risk you
