Hi, everybody. Tom Woods here. I'm talking about Trump today and what he might do

in the second half of his term that might improve his prospects. And I just say that as an

interesting political exercise, obviously what he might do to become a better political figure would be just to become a

libertarian and agree with me on everything. But I'm just talking about from his own point of view and from

the point of view of his own supporters, these are things that it baffles me that he's not doing.

I don't understand why he's not doing them. And I realize that I run the

risk of being called an egghead even to criticize Trump. That's a problem. And it's not just

Trump. But there are some folks who are so devoted to him that any criticism at all is, you know,

borderline treasonous. But beyond that, it's more that there's like a cult of

personality around him where the thinking runs something like this, that in winning the election

in 2016, he pulled off something so unlikely, so unexpected, and certainly unexpected to the media and pundit classes who confidently predicted

Hillary's win that if you criticize anything about him or his strategy or approach, it just

goes to show how out of touch you are. The guy obviously knows what he's doing. Look at this
