Not only did each one strike the kind of tone that I like in books,

but the whole experience of being a guest on and a listener in the What Should I Read Next community has bolstered my reading life.

After a very readily year for me, I've decided to celebrate my 30th birthday with a big bookish bash.

Guests are encouraged to bring poems and book recommendations,

order some of my favorite books to give as prizes, disguised in blind date with a book fashion.

In addition to games like Balder Dash, I'm intending to incite debate over the best on paper couples,

and because I'm an art teacher on maternity leave, I've also upcycled books into bunting anaries.
