Hi everybody. Tom Woods here. We are doing an informative episode, you know, like the others

aren't, but this one in particular comes from listener demand in my special group over at

supporting listeners.com. I had somebody say, could you please explain to me or do an episode on

stock buybacks? And I thought we can do that, but I'm not sure I would do a whole episode on that.

Maybe we could do an episode where we take people's questions about the stock market.

Because as soon as the person asked the question about stock buybacks, another person was asking about,

I don't know what it means to short a stock, and I hear that all the time. There's a kind of lingo that's used here as in many other areas of life where

people who are well-versed in it can converse easily and everybody else is kind of left out in the

cold. So we thought today we'd take a bunch of questions from the supporting listeners group

and some of them will just be strictly informative. What does this term mean? I want to understand

this better. And others of them may have a more libertarian angle. And joining me to do this are two great guests.
