But it's never really simple because all of my songs have a life of their own.

So, since this podcast is independent by design, I have decided that this is season two,

because why not?

I started this last summer.

I did 12 episodes in season one, and I took a break between January and April, just because it felt right.

And now I'm starting back up, and so welcome to season two of Songversation, the podcast.

Yay!

And this is episode 13, Songversation, Follow the Sun.

To be honest with you, I don't even know what I'm about to say. Because I chose Follow the Sun randomly. I told myself I had been procrastinating and I was going to go ahead and choose a song and I would say whatever song came out of my mouth when I started recording and that one was what came out of my mouth.

And I also don't know what I'm going to say because I'm not even sure what follow the sun

is about, which is rare for me. I don't think I don't think I have another song that I've ever

written at all that I don't know what it's about. So, so I said all of that

to say that then you hear in the back. In the past, it had been a washing machine. One time it was my

dishwasher. I don't want to make it sound like I had, you know, random noise in the back of all my

podcast because I didn't, but one time there was a dishwasher, one time there was a washing machine.

But this time, it is the ocean. And I love that sound. I'm not going to let it play all the way through the podcast,
