This is the nanny state at its worst.

I've been here for a few months and it hasn't really gotten super cold, but every morning

when I get on the subway, I always see you New Yorkers bundled up in these giant

puffy jackets and coats and it's like 50. And I'm just wondering what happened here? Like what happened to you all to make you so prepared for this cold weather that's supposed to be coming? I think just people don't check the weather. That's my take. I think people just assume it's December. They look at the calendar and they're like, it's December, I'm going to wear my puffy

jacket.

But you know, I checked it this morning and so I was pleasantly surprised even though our planet might be falling apart. It's quite lovely out there right now. Yeah, it's, it is, there's some upsides to it. We've got some interesting stories coming up today, Ravi. Coming up, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis introduces a stop-woke act to fight

CRT in schools. But does it go too far? And then an Arizona mom faced up to one year in jail

after leaving her son alone on the playground. We discussed a delicate balance between child

independence and child safety. Also, religion is at an all-time low, with 30% of Americans self-identifying as non-religious.
