Welcome back you guys this is season two and as you can tell now while you can't tell from the

audio but you can tell from the YouTube that we are on YouTube. We are we made the switch we heard

you we listened we made it happen we're working three times as hard my eyes are literally already

watering from the stress of it all yeah honestly um so thank you guys so much for coming back for

another season with us today we are joined by the lovely Matt. Yep this there. Yes they are

for those of you who don't know Matt is Sam's husband thank you so much for being here Matt.

I'm used to you calling me the fiance so it was weird for you actually to call me the husband

this time. Look did you get a little nervous excitement quiver? Yeah yeah so today Matt is going to

talk about his past with addiction thank you so much for sharing with us. No problem. This is

just something that was really heavily requested by you guys we kind of mentioned in passing in a

couple episodes that Matt dealt with this um and a lot of you guys were asking for him to kind of

come back share like the experience what it was like going through rehab all that kind of stuff so

we're just gonna really hash out all your past trauma here. Yep okay I'd also like to point out that

when I first got into like basically the programs what they call it or like when I got to

rehab and stuff everyone let's just say everyone there's almost like a stigma about sharing about

like even in rehab they're like well you should only share with people that like because it can

affect your job I think I went to rehab seven years ago and then that was a topic like oh it was

like oh it can affect your job if they know you have substance problems and all this stuff but I feel

like I don't know if it's changed or I've changed but I feel like it's more like people understand

addiction more and like mental health now even from seven years ago and I feel like it's not it
