Hey folks, Tom Woods here. We're talking about English departments today and what the heck is going on there and what kind of theories are

being thrown around and what it's like to endure all this.

And we're doing that with Alan Mendenhall, who is an associate dean at the law school at

Faulkner University.

He was previously an assistant attorney general for the state of Alabama.

He is the author of numerous

books, including literature and liberty, essays in libertarian literary criticism. He holds a PhD in

English from Auburn University and numerous other degrees. We'll talk about his educational

background a bit. And I'm delighted to welcome him. Alan, welcome to the show.

And here you are executive director of the Blackstone and Burke Center for Law and Liberty.

Right? That's correct. And you're an associate dean. I went through the whole thing. But you're at law school and all this, all right?
