Youth Outdoor Activity Day has grown to over 2,000 attendees, supported by an entire community. Dean explains how it started, how it can be replicated, and offers his insight and perspective to how similar events can be pulled off, resulting in great opportunities to get kids interested in the outdoors. 0:06.7	Today is, I can't even remember the date, but we're in the middle of coronavirus care.
0:13.5	So we are social distancing and doing some podcasts remotely as a result of that. So

0:29.9	For about five or six years I think. And I got a chance to meet him this winter at the
0:36.3	Fezans Forever Fezans Fest. Finally we got to meet face to face and he's been doing some remarkable

0:56.3	have what's called youth activity outdoor day. And he started out doing it, expecting, I don't know,
1:03.6	probably 100 or 200 people and now he's got a couple thousand people who show up. And I thought in
1:10.3	today's world, we could all use something a little bit to brighten our day about good stuff that's
1:16.4	going on. And if someone is thinking about the idea of how could I get a bunch of younger people
1:23.6	involved, Dean has kind of built a template for how you could do it. And he's very generous in his
1:32.2	information and offers to help anybody who asks. And so it just for me, it makes me feel good to
