And Guff, this was 30 minutes or so with Dylan Covey,

and he opens up about a number of things.

Let's start with his diabetes that he was diagnosed with.

I don't think Fox fans realize his story and how close he came to potentially dying and being in a coma

before he was even diagnosed right after he was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in

2010.

I'd say it's safe to say that you and I always are looking for a story that humanizes these

guys in ways that maybe fans aren't aware of.

And there's been little blurbs about Dylan Covey's diabetes diagnosis in the last year and a half, let's say. But Dylan was

very open, very honest about when he was diagnosed, what happened where he was, and how close he came

to dying. I mean, it's like it was a very honest question that you asked him. And I'll tell you what, you appreciate the journey of Dylan Covey last year.
