Cranic Company Jim Harball has always been

a little quirky, he rocks khaki shorts and cleats with no care in the world and has a

very interesting way of communicating with just about everybody including the media.

Now Saturday he continued that trend after Michigan released a statement saying they had

made a decision on their quarterback.

That decision was to start last year's signal caller Kade McNamara game one against Colorado

State, but also that young phenom JJ McCarthy would start game two against Hawaii.

So no Jim, you guys didn't make a decision, you did the opposite.

This lack of a decision looks like he's trying to appease both parties instead of just

going with the best guy.

If JJ's better for the team than he should start game one.

If Kade's a better option, then name him the starter instead of him having to realize

that regardless of how he does in the first game, he isn't going to be the guy behind

center in game two.

On one hand maybe Harball's worried that in the age of the transfer portal, if JJ wasn't

named the game two starter, he would lose him at some point.

If Kade's winning games like he did last season, while simultaneously trying to appease Kade

because he helped save Harball's job in 2021, either way, someone is going to be pissed

off because only one guy can play at a time.
