My name is Philip Kulenshov and this is 300 seconds about business.

We're all a busy people, so I'm five minutes or less to get my point across.

Minutes is the currency around here. Five is all we got.

Entrepreneurs trying to get a business off the ground have a lot going for them.

But the one thing they need most is mostly what they don't have.

Money.

It requires money to get a business going.

Not every startup needs the same amount of money,

and not every startup has the same timeline to break even.

But whatever the business, if you want it to grow into a business

bigger than a job for you, you need money to be able to do that. You need money to hire people. You need money

to buy equipment. You need money to research and develop, all of it requires money.

So what do you do if you need money and don't have it? The entrepreneur who doesn't have any money must

rely on something more important, his ability to lead.

Whether it's to get investors to follow you on your journey or to get a team to work for

something other than money, the founders who make it happen are those who know how to lead.

In a startup, that's all you got.

And that's the one thing you must have.

Leadership is what's required if you want people to follow.
