Hey, everybody, Tom and Bob here with another episode of Contra Krugman. Oh boy. Oh boy, do we have

one that's going to just make your skin crawl this week. Yes, yes, yes. It's about the Republican

Party and how crummy they are. And you say, Tom, why would you and Bob do another column like that? Well, sometimes we skip columns

like this. We do something else. But this one, I don't know, it just had something special

about it. We thought, what the heck?

Je ne se co. Yeah, that's right. It's right. Bob, good to have you here.

Yeah. Again, that was, I think I took French for six years. That and Jean-Mapel-Robera. I got those two down.

Do you feel like after your years of French study that you are a very competent French speaker?

I think so. It sort of makes me a cosmopolitan. I think that's what gives me such a global outlook on things, I would say.

Well, I ask you, I ask you only because this past week I had Brian Kaplan on the show on my podcast, because he has his new book out called The Case Against Education.

And he says that even when you consult studies where people self-report, and obviously when people

self-report, they tend to exaggerate their skill. And you ask them, do you feel like you speak

a language well, thanks to your high school instruction? And it came back less than one percent.

So, Bob, you are the 1%. Congratulations.
