She played a significant role in shutting down Exodus International, the largest conversion therapy organization in the world, and she was also the first openly gay person to be hired by an evangelical Christian college. 0:05.9	States alone because people don't agree about what these words mean for us 2,000 years later in a
0:12.2	totally different context. But I think like it's actually not that hard to love. It's really
0:19.8	not that complicated to look at somebody and say what's leading to flourishing,
0:24.3	what's leading to health, what allows them to truly thrive and to be fully alive in the way
0:31.7	that God intended, and then to listen to them and believe them when they tell us what that is.

0:37.9	complicated. So I think, um, yeah, my encouragement for, for people that are in that place
0:44.7	feeling torn is to just take a step back and to like use a little common sense. Like there's a lot

1:04.9	that we you know evangelicals could stand to just like take a step back and bring a little wisdom to this conversation
