Chuck Arfand here at Guaranteed Ratefield and had a chance to sit down with Danny Farquhar today.

And this was a revealing, introspective

and light-hearted interview as well with Danny.

And as all of you know, he's recovering from the brain hemorrhage that he suffered on April

the 20th here at the ballpark in that game against the Houston Astros.

And he's been through a lot and we get into it.

All the things that have happened since then and he's, you know, very open and honest about how close he came to dying.

There was a decision that his wife had to make while he was in surgery

that could have changed his life forever. He talks about that. Also, how many letters he has received

from people, mainly White Sox fans.

This really, as a credit to you guys,

who have been there for him, prayed for him,

and sent him letters, he'll give you the number.

It's a big number of letters that have come his way

ever since this happened.

He talks about what he would like to do if he can't pitch again. That's a possibility that he may not be able to do it, but he'll tell you about the career he might want to do.
