there's so much content out there that could fill the world with books in terms of excuses

that people make for why they stray from the Lord or why they compromise or why they dabble.

Is it just human nature to do that, to keep ourselves comfortable? And

he's our conscience? Well, I'm often hit people that backslide say something like, I still pray.

I still pray. And I read something that JC Riles said that I have to qualify because of what he says,

backsliding generally first begins with an neglect of private prayer. I say, yeah, I am in

a bit of qualification. I read this morning that most Americans pray, this is in a typical week,

two out of three American adults, 66% pray at least once, another one of 10 adults prays at least once

a month, and one of seven, 15% say they never pray, which means 85% Americans pray. But what happens

is the prayers become selfish prayers. That's what the Bible says, the backslider on heart shall be

filled with its own ways. And that's exactly what happens with someone who keeps praying because

conscience doesn't know God exists, but it's a God of their own imagination and the prayers are selfish.

full of all sorts of evils, but one amazing, wonderful, beautiful thing that it has given us is

videos that tickle us, pink, and every other color imaginable. And speaking of pink, one of those
