What we read the other day in the New York Times, an anonymous op-ed by a senior official in the Trump administration, shook me pretty much like nothing else has in years and years in terms of the news. What we read in there is that this person, along with a network of others, is engaged in activity we would

describe as being carried out by a cabal, a secret cabal of people who say, now look, we know

we need to have an adult in the room with Trump. So don't worry, we're actively working to

undermine him. And in particular, to undermine his peace initiatives.

They'll say, so you may notice that on the one hand, he seems to be engaged in a genuine effort at diplomacy.

But then on the other hand, you'll see a discordant note where he'll do something that seems bellicose.

Well, that's us at work secretly in the background.

That's unbelievable.

I mean, it's not really unbelievable, given the crimes the U.S.

government is guilty of.

But it's still extraordinary.

It's still amazing to me that it's actually happening, and they would be brazen enough

about it to report it.

And of course, to pat themselves on the back, thank goodness we're here because we have an idiot

who's running the country who has a preference for dictators. And that's about the level

of the article. And I say this as somebody, again, I should not be necessary to repeat,
