Her research on elite mobility, international migration, nationalism, and politics has been translated into a half-dozen languages. She has held several internationally recognized positions, including Richard B. Fischer Member of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, Fung Global Fellow at Princeton University, Sainsbury Fellow at the Sainsbury Institute for Japanese Arts and Cultures.

1:28.8	apart and dive into your work because you are a lot more detail than I am. But I've got some
1:34.5	interesting perspectives as an American guy living in Southeast Asia. So whether that's legal or
1:39.9	illegal immigration from the perspective also of a citizenship by investment. I've had a chance to
1:46.2	have many meetings with one of the largest EB-5 firms in the States. I don't know how much money
1:52.7	they have under management, but it's a huge number. I've had a chance to really understand that
1:56.2	business. It's quite interesting. It's quite a successful business. My perspective is, if somebody can afford to find their way out of their situation that they
2:05.1	don't like and they can pay a fee and they can get a passport or they can get citizenship,
2:10.2	I will never stop them.
2:11.8	I won't criticize them.
2:13.3	Gosh, if that's what they need to do, go for it.
2:15.4	On the flip side, I look at my home country. I look at
2:18.8	your country. I look a lot of other Western democracies. I see, and this also rings a bell with me
