Summary

They ask if you have guns in your home, they tell you you’re endangering your child, they guilt you into complying with their standards. No, we’re not talking about politicians. We’re talking about pediatricians. It all comes back to the American Academy of Pediatricians and today, Liz breaks down the funding behind this institution responsible for our children, exposes the troubling history with equity, diversity, and inclusion (read: CRT) and other radical leftist ideas, and shares the truth that all moms and dads need to know. So funny story, the first time that I took Lady Baby, who is now 14 months, the first time that I took

0:05.1

Lady Baby to the pediatrician after she was born, like, what, two, three days after she was born.

0:10.0

The first question that the doctor asked me when we got into the office was, do you have guns

0:15.2

in your home? Now, I wasn't surprised by this question. I had done my due diligence. I had

0:18.9

looked up what actually is the reason that you take your baby to the doctor to the pediatrician

0:22.7

just days after they're born. And so I was expecting this question. A lot of moms have experienced this.

0:26.8

This is standard of care in doctors offices. And but my reaction, when I was asked this question,

0:31.8

nonetheless, even though I was expecting, my reaction was WTS. Like, how is this possibly

0:36.3

pertinent to the care of a two to three day old baby? How is this possibly a question that should

0:43.0

take precedent over any number of other questions? And because I was expecting this, I had discussed

0:48.1

how to respond to this with my husband because I really don't think it's anybody's business,

0:51.5

how many or what kind of guns are in my home alone, whether or not there are firearms in our home.

0:58.3

I wanted to respond to the doctor. I wanted to just say, break in and see when they ask this question,

1:04.7

but my husband is more tactful than I am. He wouldn't let me answer. He wouldn't let me say that.

1:10.3

So I just declined to answer. I just said I declined to answer. But this happened. This story happened

1:14.8

two to three days after the baby was born last year. And this was after in the hospital. So we're

1:21.2

in the hospital for I think three days after the baby was born. And the pediatrician was actually a

1:25.4

neonatologist, I think, at the hospital was sent specifically to my room. Now I delivered with

1:30.6

midwives. So this wasn't this wasn't our OBGYN or anything. This neonatologist at the hospital

1:35.3

was sent specifically to our room because I declined the hepatitis B vaccine. I declined to give

1:40.0

that vaccine to my daughter on the day that she was born just hours after she was born because

1:44.9

why? Why would I give that vaccine to my daughter on the day she was born? Hepatitis being this,
