But there's a couple of things here that I see out there that are just so simplified.

One is I'm seeing these tweet threads about who's to blame? And usually the answer is one person, right?

I think there's a lot of blame to go around here.

Silicon Valley Bank itself managed risk poorly. Some of these other banks did as well.

It's very obvious they didn't hedge their risk. There's a whole set of problems there.

People who sowed panic and participated in the panic. Some of them knew better. The Fed for its herky jerky interest rate policy certainly has some of the blame here. Lawmakers also, in my opinion, potentially to blame because they have stepped in and rolled back some of this regulation as we talked about.

So it seems like there's a lot of blame to go around here.

Now, you don't have to agree with all of those points about who's to blame,

but I think like trying to isolate one person is silly.
