My name is Philip Kulenshov and this is 300 seconds about business.

We're all a busy people. My name is Philip Kulachov and this is 300 seconds about business.

We're all a busy people, so why in five minutes or less to get my point across.

Less than five minutes on the clock.

There's a perception among many Christians that the world we live in is morally neutral.

We divide life into two categories.

In the first category, we put everything we deem to be sacred, Bible

reading, prayer, church, missions, evangelism. This is what most Christians

referred to as good works. They hold them in a special category. The 5 a.m.

Bible hour is a transcendent moment full of God's presence,

and an isolated hike through the mountain range spent in prayer makes us feel like Moses himself.

We feel closer to God in those precious moments and so we hold them to be sacred.

Spirituality has been sainted by the church, imbued with holiness, and anointed with oil

dripping straight from the beard of Arran.

We can't wait for the moment when our big toe is last to touch the dust of the earth as we ascend our way up to heaven.

And so, while still stuck on earth, we live for those heavenly encounters.

Everything else, unless it's sinful, we hold in a neutral category. Education, politics,

science, art, and business are neutral playing fields. We call this category secular, meaning

this stuff has no direct religious association. These things can be

used to serve God or lead us into sin but they don't have any moral value in

themselves. Many Christians hold business in this morally neutral category.
