How did your journey to the Force Awakens begin?

I was asked to go in to Pinewood, and I didn't know what I was going in for.

When I got there, I recognised a few things, and they, you know, said to me,

I obviously they'd known I had been involved with creature work in the past

and films that I've worked on in keeping physically fit.

And I was going in to try out to play a character called a fueler, which was going to be used in

Abu Dhabi. So we were going to Abu Dhabi. That was, that in itself was a phenomenal thing as well,

which I'll always remember. And whilst we were there, it wasn't mentioned at all,

though, this is Star Wars, but because nobody was really talking about it. And you obviously

sign non-disclosure agreement, so you don't talk about anything that you've seen or what

you're going to be, you know, what it is that you're going to be doing. But after Abu Dhabi,

I was then asked, I thought that was it

for me. And then I was asked to go in to meet with visual effects and with JJ. And then I met

Lupita Nongo, who I worked closely with, with Maz. And I, you know, I was asked, oh, if I, I would help with this character and I said oh my god I'd love to do it

and then the rest is history and is there with LePeda that you're playing the same character

do you guys like interact much and collaborate?

Is there a bond that you've both worked together on this now iconic character?

So I think Lepita and JJ were speaking,

and they had an idea to put a weight on Mazzies you know, on my leg and Lepita's leg.
