Hello and welcome to the Taskmaster podcast. It's me, Ed Gamble, and we're talking about

0:16.6

series 9, which me, Ed Gamble, is in, along with David Bedil, Rosemar Tefeo, Katie Wix,

0:22.5

Joe Brand. Very excited to be talking about this series. We'll be talking about the second

0:27.4

episode of this series today with the brilliant Joe Brand. I can't wait to speak to Joe. She's

0:32.1

of course been on the podcast before, but nearly three years ago, goodness me, talking about

0:37.5

series 10, but today we get to talk about ourselves, which is good, and it's a very, very good

0:43.5

episode this. I remember in the studio just absolutely losing my mind, laughing, especially

0:49.3

at the team task, Joe and David are doing the team task, which we will be discussing

1:21.2

I was doing a men's health podcast with Alistair Campbell. That's not it. And I was meeting

1:25.9

him at an office that I use, but I overslept and woke at 9.45. I am sorry to tell you this,

1:32.1

but it's integral to the story, very regular, with toileting in the morning. But on this

1:35.7

occasion, I thought if I do that, I will be very late. So I ended up having quite a long

1:40.2

shouty argument with more winner about whether it was rude or to be late, or say to Alistair

1:44.2

Campbell as soon as he steps into my office, sorry, I just need to use the loo. My office

1:48.3

is a small flat, so he would just have been sitting the other side of the door, and then

1:52.1

I'd be obviously shitting. She was convinced that shitting was worse. I think lateness is
