never had the chance to meet, my name is Jen Jewel, and I love getting to host this faith-fueled

conversation-style podcast, which unleashes a real story and a fresh perspective into

your world and your speakers every other Tuesday.

So whether it's your first time here, or maybe you've joined us for lots and lots of episodes,

whether life is going pretty well for you right now, or you are facing your very darkest

moments.

And beyond those things, one of our greatest joys here at the messy table is locking arms

with brave and courageous women from all over who are willing to share a piece of their life.

Because you know how it is. We go to our normal places, our local grocery store, our favorite coffee shops, the office, the gym, the library, our kids' schools, our go-to restaurants, sporting events, our churches. And we might even see or connect with some incredible women. But we don't always realize that we're in the midst of survivors, of overcomers, of everyday heroes.

We just don't always know what burdens they've carried or what tragedies they have faced

or what redemption they have seen.

And that is just one of the reasons why I'm super excited to introduce you to my guests for today.

Jen Lake is full of warmth and joy and life.
