Summary

Issac Desha had a checkered past. Though he was the son of a Governor, something just wasn't right. When he was spotted with a dead man's horse, things got "interesting." He ended up in San Felipe before the revolution but his prospects didn't improve much. Hear about a murder in early Texas in this latest episode of Wise About Texas.

0:59.2	great job with it. Something else we did on that Colorado trip. You know I've been going to
1:03.4	Colorado for 40 plus years and back in the day when the family would load up in the
1:08.8	station wagon we drive to Colorado we would always stop in Amarillo and eat at the big Texan steak ranch. It's an iconic Texas tourist spot and it's hard to describe. You're just going to have to Google it and figure it out. But the thing that everybody remembers is the 72 ounce steak challenge where you can sign up to eat a 72 ounce steak, shrimp cocktail, baked potato,

1:38.4	I don't know, you gotta eat it all in an hour and if you do, you won the challenge
1:41.5	and you don't have to pay for the meal.
1:43.0	Let me just repeat that, 72 ounces.
1:47.0	Well, my buddy and I were sitting there and this dude got up on stage to do this and you know a lot of people try but it's rare that you see anyone completed.
1:58.0	Not only did this guy complete it, he did it in six and a half minutes, the second fastest time ever and it just happened to be
2:04.7	the night we were there really one of the most remarkable things I've ever seen the
2:09.1	guy's name is James Webb he's from, and I looked him up and recently in June he also ate 59.5
2:20.3	glazed donuts in 8 minutes.
