We're all a busy people. My name is Philip Kulachov and this is 300 seconds about business.

We're all a busy people, so I'm five minutes or less to get my point across.

This won't take long, I promise. Your effort as a business owner to discover

your company identity, develop an ideal strategy, and design an effective

structure are good and necessary endeavors. You need to be able to answer the question

who are you about your company. However, these endeavors are not sufficient on their

own. The mission and vision are only as good as the people living it out.

If you want to get to where you say you're going,

you must hold yourself and the people you employ

to the right expectation, not just of competence,

but also of character.

You have to pay attention to the kind of people it'll take to execute your charge.

Although competence is critical for success, you don't want to only look at how many college

degrees are obtained, books, read, skills develop and experience lived out.

All that is good. But if your goal is long term, then you must hold to that old adage that says

Character Matters. Unlike education, skills, and experience, character is not as easy to measure and

trace, but one way or another it does show itself.

Or more often than not, what is visible is when character is absent.

There are many character traits necessary for success.

Listing one isn't listing all, but Listing one is better than listing none. And so, one
