Summary

Kidnappings with ransoms demanded are very rare crimes. But in 1995, Courtney’s small hometown of Conroe, Texas was forever affected when a 12 year old boy named McKay Everett was abducted and held for ransom, taken right from his home. The ransom caller demanded $500,000 and promised to call back the next morning with more instructions, but that phone call never came. And McKay’s parents would never get to see their son alive again. 0:42.0	And one day, when my mom was picking me up from my second grade classroom, she pointed to the classroom next to mine and asked if I had ever heard of what happened to Miss Norman's son. I didn't have Miss Norman as a teacher,
