Welcome to Talking Scripture, I'm Mike.

And I'm Bryce.

And today we're going to be in sections 102 through 105.

We're going to be talking about Zion's camp, that's 103 and 105.

And 102 is about councils, and 104 is about the cessation of the United Firm that last

a couple years.

So Lord's going to hand out some stewardship and we'll get a glimpse as to what the future

would look like as we transition into the law of consecration and begin to receive our

own stewardship.

So that'll be good.

But we're going to start with 102.

This is the formation of the first high council.

And yes, this is kind of written as minutes of the meeting, but what flows out of 102 are

some tremendous principles for modern day councils.

And all of us participating councils at some level, whether that's the family council,

or the ward council, or a youth council, or a state council, or all the way up to the

council of the 12, the council of the three, meaning the first presidency, the 70 council.
