0:48.8	going to start with basic crypto words and these words are words that you're going to see. You might
0:54.0	know what they mean or you might
0:56.1	know the words but not know exactly what they mean in context to cryptocurrency and our first word today
1:01.0	is currency Danny yes currency is one of those words that we all think we know but maybe we don't know
1:06.8	all of it here's the definition for yourency is simply a system and its units for
1:12.1	exchanging value. The value of each unit is just agreed upon by all of us to be worth something,
1:17.1	right? And then you use those units to pay for things and services as well as your own debts.
1:22.6	The part that I find interesting is the history of the word currency comes from current, meaning
1:26.9	in use now. Currency, meaning in use now.
1:28.6	Currency is usually in use now because the government or banks produce it and we all agree that
